Dr. Ibele received her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and completed her residency in general surgery at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics where she became interested in obesity surgery after she saw the positive impact it had on patients' lives. She went on to do a fellowship in advanced minimally invasive gastrointestinal and bariatric surgery at Indiana University. 在完成了她的研究之后.
